Marotechniek recently supplied a 30t main hoist winch including inverter controls to a Swedish customer who develops new generation windmill cranes (Up to +200mtr height) for the installation of wind mill parks.

The winch features Lebus split sleeves and an electric spooling system to accommodate a 1000mtr wire rope for multiple reeving.

The controls are fully custom build to fit the truss system of the crane, which would not have been possible with standard cabinets. The 132kW inverter and electric spooling system will be controlled by a PLC.

In cooperation with the crane developer the system will be tested intensively to have it production ready by the end of the year.
